Genealogy

Genealogy researchers are welcome to come in and browse the section.  Weekends are an especially good time as our senior library aides work Saturdays.  We also accept mail and email requests for information.  Please allow 1-2 weeks for a reply to your  mail and email requests.  We have a micro-fische machine but no printer system with it.  We own a small selection of micro-fische from the Mound City newspapers.  Resources may be viewed at the library but not photo copied.  We suggest you bring a digital camera if you would like images of platte maps or Gone Home entries.  Gone Home books are available from the Holt County Historical Society.
