Mound City Public Library is a service organization providing books, periodicals, DVDs, music CDs, copier, scanning, fax and high speed internet access, WiFi and summer reading programs to the residents of Mound City and the surrounding communities.
Library Vision Statement
Our vision is to meet the needs of our patrons by the continuous updating of our library holdings, by improving our technological resources with new computers and wireless access and by offering cooperative summer reading and after school programming for children and teens. Our outreach efforts include Story TIme on Tuesdays, daycare book tubs for 3 area providers and book tubs for Evan's Circle residents. Outreach programs are made possible by grant funding from the Library Services and Technology Act administered by the state library, matching funds in our existing budget, and donated funds raised by the Friends of the Library and Kiwanis.
